What we keep, and what we never do with it

Plain language, matching the actual machinery. Last updated November 4, 2026.

What we store

Previews: the address you entered, the email if you gave one, the ZIP, and the coverage result — so we can show your finding and improve coverage. Orders: your email, the product, the address a single report was bound to, and delivery links. Card numbers never touch our servers — Stripe handles payment. Reports: the generated report files, tied to your order so your links keep working. HomeWatch: the address you watch, the email alerts go to, and a weekly snapshot of the monitored layers so changes can be detected and shown to you. Contact messages: what you sent us, so we can answer.

What we never do

We never sell or share your searches or your email. We never put preview emails on a marketing list: there is no newsletter, no sequence, no campaign tool in our system. Email from CurbFacts is transactional only — one delivery email per order, one correction email if a report you bought is corrected, and, for HomeWatch subscribers, one alert email when a weekly check finds a material change at a watched address (plus a single notice if a payment fails). That's the entire list of things we send.

About the data in reports

Reports are built from public records and named public sources. Registry information is published as ZIP-level counts with a link to the official state registry — we never publish registrant names, photos, or exact registrant addresses. Demographic data is never a report layer and never an input to the Eyes Open Score.

Your controls

Ask us to delete your stored searches, leads, or contact messages any time via the contact form (topic: Privacy). Order records Stripe requires for accounting are kept as the law requires; everything else goes. Agent Plan cancellation runs through your Stripe receipt's manage link or one message to us.
